Som anerkendelse for hans betydelige bidrag til byen er der opstillet en buste af Frederik Lausen i Søjlehallen ved John Stampes Plads. Kunstneren er ukendt.

Frederik Lausen was a prominent businessman and manager of Aarhus Oliefabrik, one of the city’s most important industrial enterprises in the early 20th century.
