Skulpturerne er udført i kinesisk granit og består af tre løvefigurer i bevægelse og ni hjerter lagt ned i jorden foran løverne.
Billedhuggeren Claus Ørntoft har hentet inspirationen i det danske Rigsvåben.
Skulpturerne er en gave fra Aarhus Kommune i anledning af H.M. Dronning Margrethe IIs 70-års fødselsdag i 2010.

The sculptures are made of Chinese granite and consist of three lion figures in motion, with nine hearts placed on the ground in front of the lions.
Sculptor Claus Ørntoft drew his inspiration from the Danish coat of arms.
The sculptures were a gift from the City of Aarhus in celebration of HM Queen Margrethe II's 70th birthday in 2010.
